Creating WordPress Themes for HUGE Backlinks – Day 28

August 23, 2008 by

This is a very unprecedented method for creating backlinks, most people are extremely intimidated by the idea. Although creating wordpress themes for backlinks can be huge and very beneficial to any website. Consider most WordPress themes, especially popular ones. Look at the bottom of the theme, see the ‘created by’ or ‘wordpress themes by’ and the hyperlink to their website. Go ahead and click on those links and check out the PR on those websites, if it is a popular theme you can bet that they have a PR of 5 or more.

Link Building Via WordPress Themes

Remember the idea behind gaining backlinks and how search engines, specifically Google, weighs incoming links. The more incoming links, the better right? Especially if they are from content rich, and targeted websites right? RIGHT! Now I don’t worry if you don’t have any experience with coding and or WordPress theme creation. That’s why there was something called ‘outsourcing’, it was created for people like you and me that have no prior coding experience.

It may be somewhat expensive to pay for someone to create a wordpress theme, but think about the future backlinks that will be created as a result. I guarantee that you if you paid each blog that would use your theme you would really understand how cheap you are getting these links. You are paying pennies on the dollar what it is worth! Not to mention the fact that you are not raising any Google or search engine redflags because you are partaking in link exchanges. These are all unique IPs, unique content, and natural one way lniks from aged authority sites with mixed PR’s. Could you ask for a better combination? Absolutely not!

WordPress Design Tips

If you or your hired freelancer are ready to take this on, then here are some great suggestions for building your themes.

  • Create multiple theme variants (1 column, 2 column, 3 column) for multiple WP versions (1.0, 1.5, 2.0, etc.) with different variations of anchor link text.  i.e. (Bass Fishing, Bass FIshing Techniques, etc.).
  • Try to seed the theme with backlinks wherever casually possible, such as the footer, sidebar, etc.
  • You may want to try some unusual places for your link element, remember Google likes to devalue links in the usual places.
  • By targeting older versions, 1.0 and 1.5+  you are able to target the ‘older’ crowd of aged domains. Obviously if a domain is running these dated versions of WordPress they have been around for a while, and their page rank typically reflects it.
  • Contact blogs and suggest for them to use your theme that you created, since you are actively targeting websites target content similar sites as the one with your link.
  • Submit themes to WordPress theme submission websites, you will begin seeing new links in no time.
  • Create clean useful designs, remember that people don’t want a garbage design. Create something that is beautiful and user friendly and you will have backlink after backlink.

I really don’t have time nor strength to get into power struggles with you. No one is claiming any victory, this is not my personal struggle. You think you have debunked the theory, I claim you didn’t. You are obviously not accustomed to people disagreeing with you and that is really not my problem. In the end, everyone will believe what they find most reasonable. I am fine with people thinking you are right and I hope (for your own peace of mind) that you are fine with people thinking you are wrong.

    Take care

This is great to have an idea of what I need to do. I just wish I had know this a long time ago.
I am usually a fanatic about keeping things short but, now I have a number to keep in mind (give or take a few).
    Thank you again!
